Over the Past 4 years most of you have not heard much from me. That’s because after the first 20 years I decided to take The Wedding Firm in a new direction. 24 years – Wow! it seems like it was only yesterday. I come into your homes and offices today as I have done so many times before. In the past it was to tell you of new and exciting Wedding trends. Always something exciting going on.
As I said earlier, the last four years I have stepped away from the industry, while still maintaining a fully staffed office doing more weddings than I would have liked and playing less golf than I had hoped, But I am The Wedding Pro.
The Wedding Firm of Jeffrey Bost and Associates comes this time not bearing gifts but carrying a warning. I am warning you of a terrible two-headed Virus that has infected the Atlanta Wedding Industry. It was released two years ago. It has been spreading like wild fire and has infected many. I think that you may have come into contact with it. It’s like a computer virus that gets into your contact list and contacts everyone in it. It doesn’t know the people, but its job is to destroy them. The closest thing that I can compare it to is identity theft, but instead of taking your personal identity and ruin it, this virus goes one step further, it takes you reputation and destroys it. Its mission is to leave you in shambles. As I think about is more deeply, it could be considered a terrorist act!
What is this virus? In the old days it would have been called lies, backstabbing and gossip. But in today’s techno revolution it is called a virus.
The Wedding Firm of Jeffrey Bost & Associates for has taken pride as a consumer watch dog for the Atlanta Wedding industry that we will continue. Why do I feel that you have been exposed to this virus, because this virus acquires its victims from some of the places where you do a lot of your marketing. Believe me, I market in most of the same places, I have had many calls from other vendors complaining about this terrible act. I talked with four industry leaders with a combined 100 years of wedding knowledge and experience after serious studies We call this the little P. I. G. virus. (P) lease (I) gnore (G) ossip. More about the little pig later.
I would hope and pray that as a professional courtesy, if someone in our industry comes up to you and talks bad about another or puts another down….. Log it in the category of what its worth - GOSSIP!.If you really want to know if it’s true, go find out for yourself, interview that person, plain and simple, just ask! There is enough business for all of us out here.
A lot of us know who the person is because the search has been underway for almost one year, so this is not guess work and we do have a list of people that this immature behavior affected.
Lastly, I have given the Wedding Firm and its Associates the green light and the resources needed to put this person on blast for all the world to see. I will not make a distinction between those who committed these acts and those they represent and know the reputation of this nasty virus.
The Wedding Firm would like to thank the Atlanta Wedding Industry for its support over the last 24 years. Next year my doors are open to anyone who loves the wedding industry. It’s the only thing that I know….. first comes God, then Family and Weddings. I have not been making my rounds to do daily visits but this will get me started, maybe this is my wake up call to put the Golf clubs away and return to work. I guess that’s my plan for the next 31 years. The Wedding Firm of Jeffrey Bost & Associates is not just a name and since many of you may not know me here’s what some of my many Associates have to say about me or you can call them and see for yourself. I look forward to meeting, working, helping, training and just being plain old friends with you all.
